Job overview
We are looking for a meticulous and insight-driven Supply Chain Analyst to strengthen the full supply chain cycle, covering procurement, logistics, inventory control, and demand planning. In this role, you will study supply chain information, spot inefficiencies, and turn findings into practical recommendations that improve performance, lower expenses, and make operations run more smoothly.
What you will do
- Review supply chain data to uncover patterns, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
- Track stock levels, demand projections, and supply planning activities.
- Assist with procurement, logistics, and distribution workflows.
- Create and update reports, dashboards, and KPI tracking tools.
- Work closely with suppliers, vendors, and internal stakeholders to keep operations coordinated.
- Detect supply chain bottlenecks and suggest ways to streamline processes.
- Support demand forecasting and planning efforts.
- Assess supplier performance and contribute to vendor management activities.
- Maintain accurate data across supply chain platforms and reporting systems.
- Help drive cost-saving and efficiency initiatives.
Qualifications and experience
- A bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Logistics, Operations Management, Finance, Economics, or a closely related area.
- Typically 1 to 3 years of experience in supply chain, logistics, procurement, operations, or another analytical role.
- Strong ability to analyze information and solve problems.
- Hands-on proficiency with Microsoft Excel, including PivotTables, formulas, and data analysis.
- Experience using reporting and data visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
- Good understanding of supply chain processes and day-to-day operations.
- Clear communication and solid organizational skills.
- Ability to juggle several priorities in a fast-moving environment.
Preferred background
- Exposure to ERP platforms such as SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, or comparable systems.
- Knowledge of demand planning, forecasting, and inventory management tools.
- Familiarity with SQL or other data querying methods.
- Understanding of Lean, Six Sigma, or similar process improvement practices.
- Prior experience in manufacturing, retail, or e-commerce supply chains is an advantage.
