Store Executive

Role Overview

This position is responsible for managing store operations, material movements, dispatch coordination, inventory accuracy, and warehouse compliance at the Bengaluru site.

Qualifications and Experience

The ideal candidate should be a graduate in any stream or hold a diploma in Supply Chain or Material Management. A minimum of 5 years of focused experience in stores, dispatch, or job work/subcontracting operations is required. Practical experience with SAP MM, along with strong command of MS Excel and PowerPoint for management reporting, is essential.

Core Responsibilities

• Manage the complete material receipt flow and ensure every inward shipment is physically checked with full accuracy against supplier paperwork.
• Carry out SAP postings with precision, including standard goods receipt notes, high seas sales GRN entries, import GRN processing, and in-transit GRN tracking and closure.
• Handle material issue activities on a daily basis and update stock consumption or issue records in SAP in line with material issue slips and job work requests.
• Post production orders accurately to support stock conversion tracking through SAP transactions such as CO27 and MIGO bunching.
• Oversee safe packing of loose spares, machined parts, and finished goods to prevent damage during transit.
• Create and verify packing list release workflows in SAP.
• Plan dispatches on a daily and weekly basis while working closely with OM, Workshop, Production, and commercial teams.
• Coordinate with internal and external logistics partners to ensure vehicles are placed on time and deliveries are completed smoothly.
• Work with the commercial team for returnable and non-returnable gate passes as well as dispatch-related documentation.
• Plan and execute cycle counts, periodic physical stock checks, and fixed asset verification to maintain system accuracy and zero variance.
• Manage scrap handling, including segregation, storage, and disposal of factory scrap, obsolete materials, and hazardous or non-hazardous waste.
• Monitor consumable stock levels and raise timely SAP purchase requests for packaging materials, warehouse consumables, and office stationery.
• Supervise the use, safety checks, daily checklist upkeep, and overall operation of MHE such as forklifts, stackers, and pallet trucks.
• Ensure timely calibration of tools, tackles, and both heavy and light weighing scales to maintain quality and control standards.
• Participate in internal and external ISO audits and maintain strict compliance with regulatory and documentation requirements.
• Identify bottlenecks in warehouse processes and recommend practical improvements to increase efficiency and resource utilization.
• Apply Lean methods such as 5S, Kaizen, and FIFO to improve housekeeping, optimize storage, and use available space effectively.
• Use advanced Excel functions such as pivot tables, VLOOKUP, and formulas, and prepare professional PowerPoint presentations for monthly management reviews.

Technical Requirements

Strong working knowledge of SAP MM is required, along with advanced proficiency in MS Excel and PowerPoint.
