Position Overview
The Stock Coordinator plays a key role in keeping merchandise moving smoothly from the stockroom to the shop floor. This position covers receiving goods, checking them carefully, storing them correctly, and keeping inventory records accurate. The role works in close coordination with store management, sales teams, and other colleagues to maintain order, efficiency, and strong store standards.
Core Responsibilities
- Take delivery of merchandise and verify quantities both manually and through electronic counts to confirm accuracy.
- Check product condition and immediately inform the store manager or assistant store manager about any damage or discrepancy.
- Store and handle goods properly so items remain protected from damage.
- Sort and arrange merchandise in the stockroom according to store procedures so items can be accessed quickly.
- Label newly received items and process returned products based on instructions from senior staff.
- Support sales associates by replenishing shelves and ensuring products remain available at all times.
- Stay alert to store security requirements and avoid any lapse in vigilance.
- Maintain excellent housekeeping and keep the stock area tidy and well organized.
- Be prepared to work longer hours during sales and festival periods when required.
- Be physically fit and capable of lifting loads of around 10 kg.
- Track inward and outward stock movement and keep the related records up to date.
- Identify any missing price labels and report them promptly.
- Support stock count and stock-taking activities as needed.
Experience Profile
The preferred candidate will bring strong organizational ability and familiarity with warehouse management systems for monitoring inventory. Prior experience in stock handling, warehouse operations, or logistics is an advantage.
Working Conditions
This is a full-time onsite position based in Saudi Arabia. The role may require extended working hours during peak sale and festival periods.
