Job Summary

The role focuses on purchasing subcontracted parts and services under the most favorable price, quality, and delivery terms, guided by the global Supply Chain team. You will help shape and execute procurement strategies, support commercial operations with advance purchasing activities, and contribute to engineered market strategy to improve profitability and on-time delivery. A key part of the position is owning the supplier portfolio and working closely with the supply team to strengthen delivery performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Apply just-in-time principles to ensure all materials needed for facility project manufacturing are available when required.
• Negotiate commercial terms and pricing to secure the best possible supply conditions and protect margins.
• Assist service centers during the quotation stage so they can offer competitive pricing and delivery commitments.
• Track purchase orders to ensure timely delivery from both outside vendors and internal company sources.
• Spot and resolve import-related issues for goods entering the local service center, and coordinate problem-solving to meet contractual delivery obligations.
• Establish supply agreements with important suppliers to secure preferred pricing and delivery arrangements.
• Monitor inventory levels and maintain stock at an optimal level on site.
• Carry out other duties as assigned.

Preferred Experience and Skills

The ideal candidate should have solid purchasing expertise, the ability to apply technical and quality requirements in procurement, and fluency in English. A strong understanding of the main purchasing functions is expected, including negotiations, supplier evaluation and development, supplier quality, and logistics. Familiarity with market requirements and strong global, strategic negotiation ability are also important.
