About the role

This position is for a new graduate engineer who will contribute across multiple teams. You will help improve core user experiences and make it easier for users to find value in the product. The work involves growing ownership over meaningful projects, making technical choices, and contributing to product direction while collaborating closely with design, product, and data partners.

What you will do

• Partner with teammates to plan, design, build, and maintain new product features from initial idea through research, implementation, and ongoing upkeep.
• Support growth and adoption efforts by improving onboarding moments and refining activation flows.
• Work on speed, reliability, and refinement of existing product experiences, such as improving sync behavior or search indexing.
• Create internal tooling and automation that help the broader team work more efficiently, including scripts that organize or import feedback data.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related discipline.
• Must be available to begin full-time work before July 27, 2026.
• Prior internship experience is required.
• Progress toward proficiency in one or more programming languages such as TypeScript, Node.js, or Python.

• Experience with parts of a modern stack such as React, TypeScript, Node.js, Postgres, or Elasticsearch is a plus.
• A builder mindset with enthusiasm for making software that is useful to yourself or other people.
• Interest in the relationship between technology and society and the responsibilities of technologists.
• Awareness of computing pioneers such as Ada Lovelace, Douglas Engelbart, and Alan Kay is welcomed.

Compensation

The estimated base salary for candidates based in San Francisco or New York City is $126,000 to $146,000 per year. Final compensation may vary depending on location, role scope, complexity, experience, and expertise. The offer may also include equity and benefits.
