About the Role
This position is for an experienced data analyst who will work closely with internal stakeholders to strengthen the foundations that make AI-assisted data access dependable.
You will support several business functions, including Product, Finance, and Customer Success, while helping shape the semantic layer and the overall data model.
Tremendous treats data as a core business asset and sees insight generation as a key driver of growth. In this role, you will be an important contributor to the data team and will collaborate with stakeholders across the company.
Key Responsibilities
- Help build dependable data models and expand semantic layer coverage so AI-generated analysis is more accurate and trustworthy.
- Use a range of analytical techniques to uncover insights about important parts of the business.
- Synthesize varied facts and findings into clear, persuasive stories that can guide decisions across the company.
- Promote data-led decision-making by working with key stakeholders and senior leadership.
- Improve how the Data team works by introducing standard processes, practical new methods, and stronger internal expertise.
- Contribute actively to a growing data team and help strengthen collaboration and team culture.
Required Experience and Skills
- Advanced SQL skills, with an emphasis on well-designed data structures, efficient query performance, and clear documentation.
- Hands-on experience with at least one BI or data visualization tool such as Sigma, Tableau, Looker, or Mode.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to explain why a solution should be built a certain way and what business impact it will have.
- Comfort using AI tools and the ability to evaluate AI-generated outputs critically.
- Ability to move projects ahead quickly through iterative delivery while handling short-term blockers.
- A structured approach to ambiguous exploratory analysis, with the ability to balance depth with an MVP mindset.
- Strong judgment and sharp product and business instincts for prioritization.
Bonus Experience
- Background working with a B2B software product.
- Exposure to dbt, Sigma, and Snowflake.
- Experience using Python or R.
Compensation and Benefits
The base salary for this position is $175,000 to $225,000, along with equity.
Benefits include fully covered health coverage in the US, unlimited PTO, and 12 to 16 weeks of paid parental leave.
The role is fully remote and can be done from anywhere in the Americas.
