SAP ABAP Developer

Role overview

This position is for an SAP ABAP Developer in Bengaluru, working on development and support activities across SAP and connected non-SAP systems. The role centers on building, enhancing, testing, and troubleshooting ABAP-based solutions for enterprise processes.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver work across the full RICEFW spectrum, including reports, interfaces, conversions, extensions, forms, and workflows.
• Improve SAP functionality using BADIs, user exits, customer exits, and enhancement framework options.
• Write SAP ABAP/4 programs for reports and build integration points to SAP and non-SAP systems using RFC, ALE/IDocs, and output processing tools such as SAP Script, Smart Forms, and Adobe Forms.
• Apply core ABAP development principles while designing, developing, and maintaining SAP applications.
• Carry out unit testing and debugging for ABAP solutions.
• Provide technical assistance and resolve issues for SAP ABAP applications.
• Collaborate with functional consultants and solution architects to implement, support, and maintain software solutions using SAP S/4HANA development tools.
• Support integrations with external systems through web services, proxies, and APIs.

Candidate profile

The employer is looking for a professional with solid SAP ABAP development experience and hands-on exposure to SAP S/4HANA tools. Immediate availability is preferred.
