Role overview
This full-time Section Manager position at Zara is based in Chester, England, United Kingdom. You will report to the General Manager or Deputy Store Manager and help lead one section of the store, supporting day-to-day operations, performance, and team culture in a busy retail environment.

Key responsibilities
You will be involved in merchandise presentation, store operations, team support, customer service, and maintaining a safe and efficient environment. The role combines hands-on shop floor work with people leadership and stock/process management.
Commercial and product
- Implement product displays and layouts according to brand direction and current sales requirements.
- Review sales performance and customer buying patterns to improve product placement.
- Track stock availability and react to demand changes across different departments.
- Keep the sales floor tidy, well ordered, and easy for customers to navigate.
Operations and stock
- Assist with deliveries, replenishment, and maintaining an organised stockroom.
- Work to daily targets across store operations and omnichannel activities, including SINT.
- Use store systems and technology to support accurate and efficient work.
People and team leadership
- Help organise the team with clear planning, balanced delegation, and strong communication.
- Lead in a respectful, inclusive, and steady manner.
- Apply HR procedures and company standards in a fair and practical way.
- Promote accountability, collaboration, and open discussion within the team.
Learning and development
- Support development plans, performance conversations, and internal progression.
- Coach colleagues with varied skill levels and experience.
- Contribute to building confidence and resilience across the team.
Customer experience
- Help maintain a consistently high level of customer service.
- Support colleagues with product knowledge and styling advice.

Candidate profile
