QA/QC Manager

About the Role

IC İçtaş Construction is an international company with more than five decades of experience delivering projects in a wide range of sectors, including airports, ports, marinas, roads, bridges, high-speed rail, large power facilities, and tourism developments. The company is hiring an experienced QA/QC Manager to oversee quality assurance and quality control for a road and infrastructure project in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

What You Will Do

• Design and put into practice end-to-end quality assurance and quality control plans for road and bridge works, aligned with applicable national and international standards.
• Carry out routine site checks and audits to track construction activities, detect deviations, and ensure corrective measures are completed without delay.
• Work closely with project managers and engineers to set quality targets and key performance measures that support ongoing improvement across the project.
• Maintain thorough records of QC-related work, such as inspection logs, testing outcomes, and compliance documentation, to ensure clear project traceability.
• Coach and guide site staff on quality procedures and industry best practices, helping build strong quality awareness across the team.
• Liaise with vendors and subcontractors to confirm that materials and workmanship meet the required standards, including carrying out material inspections when needed.
• Study drawings, plans, and specifications to spot possible quality concerns early and recommend design changes that improve buildability.
• Direct root-cause investigations for quality issues and drive corrective as well as preventive actions to reduce repeat problems and strengthen results.
• Serve as the primary contact for all quality matters in project discussions, making sure quality goals are clearly communicated to all stakeholders.

Requirements

• A bachelor’s or master’s degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited institution.
• At least 20 years of experience in quality management on major infrastructure projects.
• Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience as a Quality Manager leading QA/QC systems and teams on complex construction jobs.
• Strong written and spoken English skills; Arabic language ability will be an advantage.
• Comfortable using the MS Office Suite.
