NSH Saudi Arabia is hiring an experienced QA/QC Engineer for oil and gas EPC work in Saudi Arabia. The role focuses on making sure construction, fabrication, installation, and commissioning activities consistently meet project specifications, client expectations, applicable international standards, and the project quality management system across the full project lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Set up and sustain the project quality management system in line with project and client requirements.
• Examine project specifications, quality plans, inspection and test plans, procedures, and method statements.
• Carry out inspections and track site work to confirm compliance with approved drawings, standards, and procedures.
• Liaise with client representatives, third-party inspectors, and project teams on all quality-related matters.
• Prepare and keep up-to-date quality records, inspection reports, NCRs, punch lists, and other quality documentation.
• Oversee quality control across welding, piping, mechanical, civil, structural, electrical, and instrumentation activities as needed.
• Check that all materials delivered to site match approved specifications and project requirements.
• Take part in internal and external quality audits.
• Spot non-conformances and drive corrective and preventive actions.
• Confirm the calibration status of measuring and testing instruments.
• Support turnover documentation and completion of the final quality dossier.
• Ensure work meets Saudi Aramco, SABIC, or other client-specific quality requirements where applicable.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• 5 to 10 years of QA/QC experience in oil and gas, petrochemical, refinery, or EPC projects.
• Prior Gulf experience is preferred.
• Experience on Saudi Aramco projects is an added advantage.
• ISO 9001 Internal Auditor certification is preferred.
• CSWIP, AWS, BGAS, or NACE certifications are advantageous where relevant.
• Saudi Aramco approvals are preferred where applicable.
• Strong command of QA/QC procedures and international standards.
• Knowledge of ASME, API, ASTM, AWS, ISO, and client-specific specifications.
• Ability to review technical documents, drawings, and inspection reports.
• Good communication and coordination abilities.
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office and quality documentation systems.
