Role Overview
The Production Shift Manager will be responsible for ensuring production targets are delivered on time, daily shopfloor operations run efficiently, quality and compliance standards are maintained, and the team is guided to perform safely and productively.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and coordinate production schedules so output targets and delivery commitments are achieved.
- Monitor day-to-day manufacturing activities and improve operational efficiency and product quality.
- Ensure adherence to IPC and ISO requirements while supporting reduction of defects and rework.
- Lead, train, and assign operators and technicians to the right tasks based on production needs.
- Implement and uphold EHS practices and keep the operation inspection-ready.
- Track manufacturing expenses, scrap levels, and identify opportunities to reduce costs.
- Measure and report key metrics such as OEE, FPY, and production output to management.

- Sound judgement with the ability to solve problems and make timely decisions.
- Comfort working in high-pressure environments while meeting strict deadlines.
- Clear written and verbal communication along with strong interpersonal skills.
Qualifications
- A bachelor’s degree in engineering, preferably Mechanical, Electrical, or a closely related discipline, or an equivalent qualification.
- Working knowledge of production workflows, safety requirements, and quality assurance practices.
Experience
Candidates should have 14 to 18 years of experience in production management, ideally within ISP or a similar manufacturing environment. Experience managing large teams and complex operations is preferred.
