Role Overview

The Verified product team is hiring a Product Management Intern for the Fall 2026 term (September to December). This position is designed for someone who wants practical exposure to product thinking, research, analysis, and cross-functional collaboration. You will work with product managers, engineers, designers, marketing, and other stakeholders to help turn ideas into workable product outcomes.

What You Will Be Doing

• Assist the product function in daily coordination with squads and other stakeholder groups to help resolve product-related questions and issues.
• Contribute to roadmap execution by helping define requirements, completing research, and supporting squads in meeting broader business goals.
• Take part in product initiatives and squad ceremonies, including sprint activities, requirement documentation, and roadmap support.
• Study market trends and review user feedback to uncover improvement opportunities.
• Monitor product performance indicators and use data analysis to support decisions.
• Create concise, evidence-based presentations and written materials for internal stakeholders.
• Support product information systems and roadmap-related tools using platforms such as Jira, Figma, and other similar applications.

What You Bring

• You are currently enrolled in an undergraduate program at a recognized Canadian institution in Political Science, Philosophy, Economics, Business Administration/Commerce, Data Analytics, or a related discipline.
• You have strong analytical ability, sound judgment, and a structured approach to problem solving.
• You communicate effectively in both written and spoken formats.
• You can work well with others in a cross-functional setting and also handle tasks independently.
• You understand product development workflows and agile ways of working.
• You can research markets, compare competitors, and turn findings into practical recommendations.
• You are eager to learn beyond your core area of study and contribute wherever the team needs support.
• You pay close attention to detail and catch issues that may be overlooked by others.
• You are comfortable using Microsoft Office tools, including Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Power BI, and MS Teams.
• Experience with tools such as Jira/Confluence, Figma, Lucidchart, or Tableau would be considered an advantage.

Preferred Background

• Previous exposure to product management or business analysis is helpful, though not mandatory.
• Familiarity with agile practices is an advantage.
• Experience in primary or secondary research, pricing work, financial analysis, or consulting is also beneficial.

Compensation and Term

The role is paid at an hourly rate of $23 to $25. The internship runs from September 2026 through December 2026, and the final rate will be influenced by relevant skills, experience, and job-related knowledge.
