Power BI / Data & Analytics Specialist

About the role

This contract opportunity is for an experienced Power BI and data analytics professional to contribute to reporting and analytics work within a Microsoft Fabric ecosystem. The assignment is based in Munich and follows a hybrid setup with two days per week on site. The contract runs until the end of 2026, with a possibility of extension.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain Power BI reports and interactive dashboards.
• Develop semantic layers and data models using DAX.
• Convert business needs into practical reporting and analytics solutions.
• Work closely with business stakeholders and technical partners to align outputs.
• Assist with data preparation, quality checks, and documentation work.

Requirements

• At least 3 to 5+ years of hands-on experience with Power BI.
• Strong working knowledge of Power BI, DAX, data modelling, Microsoft Fabric / Power BI Service, and SQL.
• Fluency in German is mandatory.
• Excellent communication skills for handling stakeholder interactions.

Nice to have

• Experience in Azure or Fabric data engineering.
• Background in enterprise reporting, row-level security, and governance.
• Exposure to regulated environments or the automotive sector.

Additional information

This is an onsite contract role with a hybrid work pattern. The engagement is scheduled through the end of 2026, and there may be an opportunity for renewal.
