This is a practical, active job that involves walking for long periods and working outdoors in all weather conditions. It suits someone who enjoys being part of their community and taking pride in dependable service.

About you
The ideal person is upbeat, organised and able to work on their own initiative. You should be punctual, comfortable dealing with people, and committed to delivering strong customer service. A friendly attitude and a genuine connection to the local community are important. You also need to be happy spending long periods walking and working outside in all kinds of weather.
A full UK manual driving licence is required, and you must have no more than 6 penalty points.

You will receive a guaranteed hourly rate of £13.06, paid monthly and adjusted to your working hours. Overtime is paid at 1.25 times the standard rate for any hours above 40 per week.
Other benefits include 22.5 days of holiday, increasing with length of service and adjusted for hours below 40 per week, a company pension with competitive contributions, and a full uniform supplied at no cost.
You’ll also have access to career development opportunities, including trainee manager roles and apprenticeship programmes, along with enhanced family leave support such as maternity, paternity, adoption and shared parental leave. Additional perks include discounts on high street vouchers, travel, attractions, beauty products and gym membership, plus free stamps at Christmas.

If shortlisted, the first step will be an interview with a recruiter. You should keep your contact details current when applying. The employer welcomes applications from all individuals and encourages members of the Armed Forces community, including cadet instructors and spouses or partners, to apply.
