Plant Labourer - Utility

Role overview

This full-time hourly position is based in Windsor, Ontario, and supports plant production activities for a global nutrition and agricultural company. The role focuses on helping keep manufacturing running safely, smoothly, and efficiently through hands-on labour, equipment use, and site upkeep.

Key duties

• Assist with day-to-day labour needs across the plant.
• Carry out setup, cleaning, and preparation of work areas and stations.
• Safely drive mobile equipment such as forklifts or similar material-handling machines.
• Keep the facility tidy by sweeping, shoveling, painting, and completing related cleaning tasks as needed.
• Support maintenance and operations through basic troubleshooting and practical assistance.
• Help with process activities and step in to cover production duties during vacations or absences when required.
• Follow all environmental, health, and safety rules and procedures.
• Take on other tasks assigned by supervisors.

Education and experience

• High school diploma or GED is preferred.
• Experience in manufacturing, processing, or other industrial operations is an advantage.
• Prior forklift or mobile equipment experience is helpful.

Additional requirements

• Must pass pre-employment medical screening and reference checks.
• Reliable attendance is required, and overtime may be needed.
• Commitment to the employer’s environmental, health, and safety program is mandatory.
• Applicants must be legally permitted to work in Canada.
• Relocation support is not available for this role.

Compensation and benefits

The position pays $25.35 per hour and has 4 vacancies.
