Role overview

This position calls for a performance testing lead who can work independently across the full testing lifecycle, from understanding requirements and designing scripts to execution and analysis. The role centers on using LoadRunner effectively, along with practical exposure to APM and production monitoring tools, to identify bottlenecks and support issue resolution.

Key responsibilities

• Use LoadRunner confidently for performance testing and work with APM platforms such as AppDynamics, Dynatrace, New Relic, and similar tools.
• Handle hands-on testing across Web-HTTP, Java Vuser, and WebService protocols.
• Independently carry out requirement analysis, test design, execution, and result interpretation.
• Write and customize Java and C code to improve and enhance VuGen scripts.
• Review test outcomes and partner with development teams for defect triage and fixes.
• Apply knowledge of operating system internals, file systems, storage, networking protocols, and cloud infrastructure concepts.
• Observe and capture performance metrics from production and recreate them in higher-load test environments to expose issues.
• Monitor database performance and identify related bottlenecks.
• Contribute to projects in the finance and banking domain when applicable.

Technical skills and tools

Relevant toolsets include LoadRunner with HTTP/HTML, WebServices, and Java protocols, along with monitoring and observability platforms such as AppDynamics, Dynatrace, CloudWatch, Splunk, Kibana, Grafana, and Datadog.

Eligibility

Applicants should hold a B.Tech/B.E. in any specialization or be any graduate. Experience with finance or banking projects is advantageous.
