About the role
This is a midweight 2D Designer position within a respected creative team, contributing to retail, experiential, and brand communications projects. The current focus includes sport and lifestyle brands, making the role especially suited to someone who enjoys seeing brands come to life through tangible experiences.
You’ll develop the visual design work that supports these projects, working closely with 3D designers, project teams, and senior creatives from the initial brief through to final delivery. The role offers meaningful ownership, exposure to high-profile client work, and the chance to strengthen your creative voice in a supportive but ambitious environment.
What you’ll do
- Create 2D design concepts for experiential, retail, and brand communication campaigns.
- Build polished artwork, layouts, presentations, and visual assets using Adobe Creative Suite.
- Work alongside 3D designers and project teams to carry ideas from concept through execution.
- Develop presentation materials that communicate creative thinking clearly and persuasively.
- Manage deliverables across several live projects at the same time.
- Take part in workshops, brainstorming sessions, and wider creative development discussions.
- Research trends across sport, culture, retail, and visual communication.
- Help maintain consistently high creative standards across all outputs.
What you’ll need
- Approximately 3+ years of experience in brand design, experiential design, retail design, or a similar creative field.
- A portfolio that demonstrates both strong visual execution and thoughtful conceptual work.
- Advanced ability in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign.
- Confidence in articulating the reasoning behind your creative choices.
- Experience managing several projects at once and balancing competing deadlines.
- Strong skills in typography, layout, composition, and visual storytelling.
- Exposure to sport, lifestyle, culture, or consumer brands is advantageous.
- A curious, detail-focused mindset and a drive to keep improving your craft.
Working pattern and salary
The role is based in East London with a hybrid setup: three days in the studio and two days working from home. The salary is up to £45,000, with a range of £35,000 to £45,000 depending on experience.
