Mid/Senior Front-End Developer

Overview

Join a growing startup team building the frontend for hypt, a Swiss marketing SaaS company based in Valencia and Bern. The company focuses on helping businesses increase sales by tapping into the power of word-of-mouth. It has ambitious plans to strengthen its presence across the DACH region and expand into the US market within the next three years.

Role Summary

As a Front-End Developer, you will contribute to the “hypt word-of-mouth engine” and work closely with the wider product and engineering team to improve the product and the way the team operates.

What You Will Do

You’ll help shape the web experience, collaborate on product decisions, and build high-quality frontend features using Angular.

• Partner with Product Managers and the CTO to define new frontend functionality.
• Implement frontend features in Angular.
• Review code and share constructive feedback with teammates.
• Work closely with the team and contribute to a collaborative environment.
• Support the evolution of the team’s organization, tools, and internal processes.

• You should be comfortable building user interfaces for the web.
• You need solid fluency in web technologies, especially JavaScript, TypeScript, HTTP, HTML, and CSS.
• Fluency in English is required.
• Nice-to-have skills, or areas you can learn on the job, include web security knowledge and familiarity with OWASP principles.
• Experience with common authentication technologies is also a plus.
