Role overview
OneDome is hiring a junior Marketing Assistant for its London office. This is a practical, varied position designed for a graduate or someone taking their first step into marketing. You’ll support the wider group marketing team across the UK and South Africa, with work that can range from event setup to project support and day-to-day marketing operations.
The role is ideal for someone who is eager to learn, comfortable using technology, and ready to get involved in a wide range of tasks. A strong eye for detail, a helpful attitude, and a willingness to take ownership of small but important jobs are all important for success in this position.
What you’ll do
- Prepare, schedule, and distribute promotional email campaigns, including list management and simple performance tracking.
- Use existing brand templates to produce co-branded marketing materials for partners.
- Support the creation of social media graphics, one-pagers, and sales presentations with polished, professional formatting.
- Update website pages through the content management system.
- Help set up marketing automations and workflow journeys such as lead nurturing sequences.
- Check that website content remains accurate, current, and easy for users to navigate.
- Build and format clear, high-quality slides in PowerPoint or Google Slides.
- Handle general marketing administration, including file organisation and support with event activity.
What the team is looking for
- A self-starting person who notices what needs attention and takes action without waiting to be prompted.
- Someone who is confident picking up new tools and enjoys improving systems and processes.
- Excellent attention to detail and the ability to review work carefully.
- A practical mindset and a willingness to take on any task, large or small.
- Comfort working in a busy environment where priorities can change quickly.
- Ambition and a genuine interest in building a career in marketing.
Experience and skills
- No previous marketing experience is needed; graduates and first-time job seekers are welcome.
- Basic awareness of design tools such as Canva is helpful.
- Familiarity with content management systems such as WordPress or Webflow is useful, though not essential.
- Strong written and spoken English communication skills.
- Good presentation-building ability in PowerPoint or Google Slides.
- Clear enthusiasm for marketing and a desire to learn in a real working environment.
