Role Overview
This position is for a Manager in Production Planning & Scheduling based in Silvassa, Daman and Diu, India. The role focuses on coordinating production plans, inventory control, supply planning, and cross-functional alignment to keep operations running efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess gaps between planned and actual production or consumption, and turn those gaps into improvement actions.
- Keep APO models updated whenever actual performance differs from forecasted performance.
- Lock in the lighter-age vessel schedule.
- Work with business teams, procurement, and other sites to meet site needs on both production and consumption sides.
- Create contingency plans for unexpected disruptions in raw material supply and product dispatch.
- Coordinate with other sites, refineries, and pipeline operations for inter-site movement of raw materials and products where relevant.
- Design and maintain an inventory strategy for raw materials, bulk chemicals, intermediates, and finished goods using LOL, UOL, MOL, and MOR levels to keep inventories optimal.
- Ensure all required inputs are fully automated into Sigma fine and PAS.
- Prepare the annual production plan for the site.
- Compile MIS reports for senior management review.
- Identify and evaluate options for alternate feedstock or raw materials in coordination with the business group.
- Coordinate the completion of statutory documentation and related compliance requirements.
- Track prices of raw materials, products, fuels, and utilities to find opportunities to improve profitability.
- Spot and pursue opportunities to optimize and integrate logistics.

Education
A bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering is required.
Experience
