Role Overview

You will be part of a hands-on lumberyard team, working outdoors and staying active while helping maintain smooth day-to-day operations. The position plays an important role in customer service, yard organization, and workplace safety.

Responsibilities

  • Guide customers with knowledgeable support for lumber and building material purchases
  • Help load products safely and efficiently for customers
  • Review invoices and confirm that the correct items have been supplied
  • Support daily yard and department upkeep, including unloading trucks, sorting lumber, arranging stock, cleaning, labeling prices, and keeping pallets and inventory organized
  • Help maintain a tidy and safe environment for both staff and shoppers
  • Carry out opening and closing tasks in the yard when required
  • Handle other related duties to keep the store operating smoothly
