Line Cook

Role overview

PPP Coffee is looking for a part-time line cook to support kitchen operations at its Central Singapore location. The role focuses on preparing food, keeping the workspace orderly and sanitary, and helping the team deliver dishes with consistent quality.

Key duties

• Support everyday kitchen operations and assist with food preparation tasks.
• Keep the kitchen clean and hygienic at all times, following strong sanitation practices.
• Track and manage food inventory as needed.
• Maintain consistency in both the quality and portioning of food served.
• Work in line with Singapore Food Agency requirements and applicable food safety rules.
• Contribute to a cooperative, positive, and friendly working atmosphere.
• Handle other tasks assigned by management or the direct supervisor.

Requirements

• Prior experience working as a commis cook is required.
• Availability for shift-based work, including weekends and public holidays, is necessary.
• Having a Food Hygiene certificate is an advantage.
• Ability to stay effective in a busy, high-pressure kitchen environment.
• Strong communication skills, a respectful attitude, and the ability to work well with others are important.

Compensation

This is a part-time position paid at S$14 per hour.
