Ondo Finance builds institutional-quality investment products and services powered by blockchain. The business combines a technology team focused on decentralized finance infrastructure with an asset management team that develops and manages tokenized funds. It is a leading provider in tokenized treasuries, tokenized stocks, and ETFs, and is working to shape the next generation of onchain financial services for institutions.
The company was founded by former members of Goldman Sachs’ Digital Assets Team and is supported by well-known investors such as Founders Fund, Coinbase Ventures, Pantera Capital, Tiger Global, and others. Ondo is already a market leader by assets under management and is funded to keep expanding. The team operates fully remotely across the United States.
About the Role
This position calls for a seasoned technical recruiting leader who can help grow and strengthen the engineering team during a major period of crypto industry expansion. You will work closely with engineering leadership to shape hiring plans, bring in top technical talent, and consistently improve the standard for hiring across the company. The role is both strategic and hands-on, with direct ownership of key engineering searches. As the recruiting team expands, there is also room to coach recruiters and contribute to the company’s long-term talent strategy.

Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end recruiting for senior engineering and technical leadership positions.
- Work with engineering leaders to shape hiring plans, workforce forecasts, and interview structures.
- Develop strong passive-talent pipelines through proactive sourcing and relationship-building.
- Guide hiring managers on interviewing, alignment, and candidate assessment.
- Track recruiting performance through metrics, reporting, and forecasting.
- Improve recruiting workflows using AI, automation, and modern recruiting tools.
- Ensure a strong candidate journey from initial outreach through offer acceptance.
- Support and mentor recruiters and sourcers while helping define recruiting standards.
- Keep strengthening Ondo’s reputation in engineering communities.
Requirements
- At least 7 years of experience in technical recruiting, including substantial work supporting engineering teams at fast-growing startups.
- Proven ability to hire senior software engineers and engineering leaders.
- Strong grasp of technical organizations and the broader engineering talent market.
- Experience working directly with senior engineering leaders and executives.
- Excellent sourcing, interviewing, and closing skills.
- Comfort using data to guide recruiting strategy and process improvements.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build effective relationships.
Nice to Have
- Experience recruiting for crypto, blockchain, infrastructure, AI, or fintech companies.
- Background in leading or mentoring recruiting teams.
- Knowledge of engineering compensation, equity, and competitive hiring markets.
