Overview
Healthcare Services Group (HCSG) is seeking a Laundry Worker for a long-term care setting in Statesboro, GA. In this position, you will help keep linens and personal garments clean, organized, and readily available, supporting a safe and comfortable environment for residents. This role is a good fit for someone who takes pride in quality work, values service, and wants to contribute to a team focused on resident satisfaction and community impact.
Compensation
The hourly pay range for this role is USD 7.25 to USD 11.00.

Key Responsibilities
- Gather, separate, launder, dry, fold, and return linens and residents’ clothing.
- Use laundry machines and related equipment in a safe and efficient manner.
- Keep track of laundry-related activity and alert the supervisor to any equipment, maintenance, or safety concerns.
- Work in line with infection prevention and universal precaution standards to maintain a sanitary space.
- Provide courteous service when dealing with residents, staff members, and visitors.
- Complete additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
- Prior experience in laundry work is helpful, but not mandatory.
- A positive attitude and the ability to communicate well with facility occupants, management, and HCSG leadership are important.
- Compliance with COVID-19 vaccination requirements is necessary.
- Applicants must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds and push or pull up to 50 pounds.
- The role requires standing, sitting, bending, and walking for extended periods.
- You should be comfortable working around cleaning chemicals.
- Ability to follow spoken and written directions and perform repetitive daily tasks is required.
- Residency within the service area is required.
