IT Support Engineer

About the role

Eil Global is an IT services organization serving clients across Asia Pacific and EMEA, with coverage spanning desktops, servers, networks, and data centre technologies. The company is based in Adelaide, Australia, and is seeking experienced IT engineers to provide onsite support for service needs in South Australia.

This position is for an IT Support Engineer working in an on-call, freelance, casual, or part-time dispatch model. Assignments are ticket-based and may be required on a same-business-day or next-business-day basis, or whenever support is needed.

Work location and mode

Service locations include Tanunda, Angaston, and other sites across South Australia. The engagement is onsite and handled through dispatch/on-call support.

Responsibilities

• Deliver onsite technical assistance and maintain a strong customer service experience.
• Support desktops by diagnosing and resolving hardware and software problems.
• Set up and troubleshoot audio/video conference rooms.
• Carry out operating system installations and re-imaging tasks.
• Assist with troubleshooting in LAN and WAN environments.
• Configure and support routers, switches, and related network equipment.
• Handle technical issues and service requests in a timely manner.
• Record support actions and resolutions according to company processes.
• Work with internal teams and client contacts to keep operations running smoothly.
• Communicate effectively in Business English and local language.
