About the Role

DO & CO AG operates a premium airline catering production unit known for delivering refined, high-end food service. The environment is built around exceptional quality, polished presentation, and a dining experience designed to impress even the most exacting airline passengers.

Role Summary

The Inventory Assistant works alongside the Inventory Manager to maintain precise control over airline-owned stock across Airline Stores and operational areas. The position is responsible for ensuring items are received, issued, replenished, and logged correctly, while supporting operational continuity and meeting airline as well as contractual compliance requirements.

This role spans several departments and involves handling large volumes of reusable, time-sensitive materials in a busy 24/7 setting. Success in the role depends on careful attention to detail, strong organisation, and the ability to work to procedures while flagging issues promptly when needed.

Key Duties

  • Support the daily administration of airline inventory.
  • Take delivery of stock, check it carefully, and enter it accurately into the system.
  • Help with cycle counts, audits, and complete stocktakes, and escalate any stock differences to the Inventory Manager.
  • Keep stock information accurate across multiple locations.
  • Assist with replenishment, par-level control, and stock rotation.
  • Work with internal departments and airline contacts to solve stock-related problems.
  • Track stock movement, usage patterns, and any discrepancies, then report findings.
  • Help manage inventory needs during new airline launches, schedule adjustments, and changes in demand.
  • Contribute to process improvements for inventory operations.
  • Coordinate with external suppliers when directed, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Follow food safety, security, and aviation standards at all times.

Requirements

The role calls for clear written and spoken English, a high level of accuracy, and the ability to stay organised while managing time effectively. Candidates should be comfortable working in a fast-moving, constantly changing environment and should have basic Excel knowledge for stock tracking and reporting. The ability to follow procedures closely and escalate concerns appropriately is also essential. Flexibility to work within a 24/7 operational schedule is required.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary for this position is £28,000 per year. The job is based on-site.

  • Refer a Friend scheme with rewards for successful referrals.
  • Free meals provided on site.
  • Access to in-house training to build skills and knowledge.
  • Opportunity to contribute ideas and make a meaningful impact.
  • Strong prospects for career growth in the UK and internationally.
  • Chance to represent a leading brand in the luxury global gourmet entertainment sector.
