Role overview

The housekeeping team member will help keep the school campus clean, hygienic, and welcoming. This includes maintaining classrooms, offices, washrooms, corridors, and shared spaces so that students, teachers, and visitors can use the premises safely and comfortably.

Key duties

• Carry out daily cleaning of classrooms, corridors, staff areas, washrooms, and other shared spaces.
• Sweep, mop, dust, and vacuum floors, furniture, and other surfaces as required.
• Sanitize frequently touched areas such as desks, door handles, switches, and handrails.
• Collect waste from bins and ensure it is discarded correctly.
• Restock washroom essentials like soap, tissues, and toilet paper.
• Keep windows, glass panels, and notice boards clean on a regular basis.
• Inform the supervisor about repair or maintenance concerns such as leaks or damaged fittings.
• Support school functions, meetings, and events by helping with setup and cleaning afterward.
• Look after cleaning equipment and materials so they remain usable and well maintained.
• Follow all applicable hygiene, safety, and workplace procedures at all times.

About the school

CS Academy, Coimbatore operates three campuses. Two campuses are located in Kovaipudur in adjoining facilities, and the third primary campus is situated in Red Fields in the city center. The boarding house at Kovaipudur accommodates boys and girls from Class IV onwards for both CBSE and Cambridge International students.
