Role overview

This leadership position is responsible for overseeing integrated facility management and operations and maintenance activities across multiple locations in India. The role combines operational control, financial ownership, compliance, and stakeholder management, with a strong focus on service quality, sustainability, and process improvement.

Key responsibilities

The incumbent will steer pan-India IFM and O&M functions, ensure service delivery across sites, and maintain strong control over budgets, vendor performance, and client expectations.

• Lead multi-location facility management and operations & maintenance activities across India.
• Own P&L outcomes and manage performance against SLA and KPI targets.
• Coordinate with clients and vendors to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.
• Plan and control CAPEX and OPEX across assigned facilities.
• Oversee asset lifecycle management and operational asset readiness.
• Ensure adherence to EHS standards and statutory compliance requirements.
• Drive operational excellence through process discipline and continuous improvement.
• Provide leadership to large teams and support cross-functional coordination.
• Prepare and review MIS reports and use data to track performance.
• Engage effectively with internal and external stakeholders to resolve issues and improve service outcomes.

Candidate profile

We are looking for a senior facilities leader with deep experience in pan-India IFM/O&M environments, proven ownership of multi-site operations, and strong capability in financial, technical, and people management.

• At least 15 years of experience in pan-India IFM/O&M operations.
• Background in leading multi-site operations with direct accountability for P&L.
• Hands-on exposure to SLA/KPI management, CAPEX/OPEX control, and client/vendor management.
• Experience in EHS compliance and asset management.
• Ability to lead large teams and manage stakeholder relationships effectively.

Education and eligibility

Applicants should hold a B.Tech / B.E. degree in Energy and Power Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering (EEE), Mechanical Engineering, or Electrical Engineering.

Additional information

The role is based in Kolkata, India. Compensation is stated as INR 22,50,000 to 30,00,000 per year.
