Job overview
TECEZE is seeking a dependable and adaptable IT support professional to step in on-site when the primary engineering team is unavailable or when dispatch-based support is needed. This role focuses on hands-on technical assistance across user devices, office technology, and day-to-day IT operations.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver on-site support for desktops, laptops, and connected peripheral equipment.
- Set up, configure, and maintain hardware and software in line with company standards.
- Carry out IMAC activities, including install, move, add, and change tasks for IT assets.
- Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues, including break-fix requests.
- Liaise with original equipment manufacturers and vendors for repairs, replacements, and escalations.
- Track IT assets, maintain inventory records, and keep supporting documentation up to date.
- Create system images for laptops and desktop computers.
- Support printer deployment, troubleshooting, and network printer installation.
- Help with conference room technology, AV setups, and meeting room equipment.
- Provide high-touch support for VIP users and end users.
- Assist with Office 365 issues and basic user account troubleshooting.
- Install and troubleshoot compliance and security-related software.
- Support Mac devices as well as Windows-based systems.
- Work in accordance with defined service level agreements.
- Record incidents and fixes, and contribute to knowledge base documentation.
- Be available for after-hours support, events, and recurring meetings when needed.
Required skills and qualifications
- Solid understanding of desktop and laptop troubleshooting, setup, and configuration.
- Practical experience supporting hardware and peripheral devices.
- Foundational networking knowledge, including DHCP, DNS, and LAN connectivity.
- Experience setting up and resolving issues with printers and network printers.
- Working familiarity with Office 365 support tasks.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced environment.
- Background in inventory control and vendor coordination.
