Role Overview

In this position, you will embody the Six Senses purpose of helping people reconnect with themselves, with others, and with the world around them. Sustainability, wellbeing, and distinctive experiences sit at the center of the resort’s approach, and you will help protect and advance these priorities through your leadership and execution.

Key Responsibilities

• Take complete ownership of the housekeeping function and ensure the department runs efficiently while meeting brand service standards.
• Maintain detailed knowledge of all resort facilities, services, room categories, room locations, and layout.
• Support the Resort Manager with improving the room, public area, and laundry experience.
• Administer housekeeping and laundry operations while helping maintain a safe and secure environment for guests.
• Make sure all policies, procedures, and best practices are established, followed, and enforced consistently.
• Coordinate closely with Front Office, Guest Services, Reservations, and F&B to anticipate and meet guest needs and to keep housekeeping operations running smoothly.
• Build a cost-conscious work culture through coaching, training, and team education.
• Ensure the hotel operates in line with legal, statutory, financial, contractual, security, safety, communication, documentation, product, service, and budget requirements.
• Review, maintain, and strengthen host management practices and operational controls to support the success of the property.

Qualifications and Experience

You should bring relevant qualifications, technical capability, and proven success in a similar senior housekeeping role within luxury hotels. The preferred background includes:

• A high school diploma or equivalent along with at least 4 years of housekeeping and laundry experience, ideally in a hotel of similar scale and complexity, including supervisory exposure.
• Preferably a bachelor’s degree in Hospitality, Hotel Management, or Business Management, plus more than 5 years of experience in a comparable hotel operations role.
• Strong fluency in English; additional languages are considered an advantage.
• Medical certificates are required for the work permit application process.
