About the Role
This internship offers hands-on experience in enterprise risk management (ERM) aligning with international frameworks like ISO 31000 and COSO. The position involves supporting the formulation and rollout of risk governance, policies, and assessment tools to strengthen organisational risk controls.
Key Responsibilities
- Aid in designing and implementing ERM frameworks compatible with standards such as ISO 31000 and COSO.
- Help establish risk governance structures including clear role definitions using RACI models and reporting protocols.
- Contribute to drafting and updating policies and documentation related to risk management.
- Perform comprehensive enterprise risk identification through top-down analyses and engagement with business units.
- Assist in setting risk appetite levels and document principal enterprise risks.
- Support risk assessment activities by measuring likelihood, impact, and prioritizing risks.
- Maintain and regularly update the enterprise risk register and visualize risk heat maps.
- Identify control deficiencies and collaborate with risk owners to monitor mitigation progress.
- Help develop Key Risk Indicators (KRIs) and create monitoring dashboards.
- Prepare periodic risk reporting for management evaluations.
Candidate Criteria
- Availability to work remotely full-time for 3 months starting between August 4, 2026 and September 8, 2026.

Required Skills and Qualifications
- Basic knowledge of ERM frameworks such as COSO or ISO 31000.
- Strong analytical acumen, research aptitude, and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint for data handling and presentations.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication capabilities.
- Ability to collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or related disciplines.
- Basic understanding of risk governance, financial analysis preferred.
- Additional advantage for candidates pursuing CFA, FRM, CA, or MBA qualifications.
