Electrical Install Technician

About the Role

Frank Gay Services is hiring an Electrical Install Technician who takes pride in quality workmanship and delivering excellent customer service. Compensation for this role is in the range of $75,000 to $125,000+ per year.

What You’ll Do

• Examine residential electrical systems, identify faults, and resolve issues while helping customers make informed decisions.
• Explain electrical problems clearly to customers and keep them updated on what needs attention.
• Educate homeowners on how their electrical systems work and what service or upgrades may be required.
• Keep the service vehicle fully stocked with the inventory needed for each assignment.
• Record completed work accurately according to company procedures.
• Present yourself professionally and maintain appropriate conduct at all times on the job.
• Arrange electrical service or installation appointments whenever the situation requires it.

What We’re Looking For

• Two to four years of experience in residential electrical installation.
• Practical experience with panel installation, meter pan installation, troubleshooting, outdoor electrical service, and riser installation.
• Experience overseeing a fleet vehicle and managing product inventory.
• Working knowledge of electrical codes and safe work practices.
• Ability to pass a motor vehicle check, background screening, and drug test.
• Strong customer service skills along with a dependable, honest, and reliable work style.
• Good physical dexterity.
