This position is for an experienced heavy rigid driver who is comfortable with local delivery work, works well with customers, and can adapt to changing operational needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Transport consignments to a range of customer locations, including distribution centres, shopping centres, wholesalers, and other businesses.
• Carry out both local delivery runs and shuttle assignments as needed.
• Develop and maintain positive working relationships with customers.
• Ensure goods are delivered safely and within the required timeframes.
• Complete pre-start inspections, secure loads properly, and follow vehicle restraint procedures.
• Comply with strict security expectations at all times.
• Keep accurate job and delivery information recorded through the PDA.

Requirements

• A current HR licence is mandatory.
• Demonstrated experience with local deliveries in the Melbourne area.
• A strong service mindset and a positive, solution-focused attitude.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Sound knowledge of the Melbourne metropolitan area.
• Ability to work in line with company policies and operating procedures.
• Willingness to provide a current full driving record when requested.
• Must be able to complete security clearance checks and a pre-employment medical assessment.

This role is based in Victoria, Australia and is a full-time, on-site position.
