Distribution Team Member

About the Role

Papa John’s is looking for a Distribution Team Member to support behind-the-scenes operations that keep product moving accurately and safely. This role focuses on receiving, loading, staging, and checking goods while maintaining quality, sanitation, and compliance standards. Key Responsibilities

• Receive and load trucks correctly and within the required time, and escalate any damaged or questionable items to management.
• Carry out loading and receiving work in line with PJFS safety and quality expectations.
• Maintain accurate daily distribution records such as receiving logs, load sheets, and damaged product reports.
• Use forklifts and other material-handling tools in a careful and professional way.
• Complete daily, weekly, and monthly cleaning tasks as scheduled, including trailer sanitation.
• Coordinate with the Shift Leader on safety matters, inventory levels, quality concerns, and operational issues.
• Work with other department members to ensure the right products are picked and loaded.
• Support customers with will-call pickups when needed.
• Follow PJFS safety, sanitation, and HACCP rules, along with applicable OSHA, FDA, DOL, and other federal, state, local, and company policies.
• Take on additional duties as assigned.

Compensation

The role is paid at up to $20 per hour.

Requirements

• A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Prior experience loading and unloading trucks is preferred.
• Previous exposure to a technology-based order-picking system is preferred.
• Ability to read and understand written or spoken instructions and policy in English is required.
• Comfort and ability to safely operate a forklift and manual or electric pallet jack.
• Capability to handle basic math tasks.
• Must be reachable in case of an emergency.
• Must be able to work for the full shift in a cold environment.
• Must be able to lift up to 60 lbs on a routine basis.
