We are hiring a motivated Dentist for the Lumino Shirley practice in Christchurch. This is a long-established clinic that serves a loyal local community and delivers patient-focused care in a welcoming environment.

Relocation Support

If you are planning to move from elsewhere in New Zealand or from overseas, support can be provided throughout the transition. Assistance may include help tailored to your circumstances, guidance with registration through the Dental Council of New Zealand, and support with settling into Christchurch and adapting to the New Zealand dental system.

Role Overview

Lumino Shirley provides a wide range of general dental treatments and is supported by an experienced leadership and clinical team, including lead Dentist Ben Harris and MultiSite Manager Tracy Corrigan. The practice values continuity of care, high standards of dentistry, and strong relationships with patients.

This role offers a collaborative setting where you can work with autonomy while still having access to national clinical and operational support.

Working Pattern

The practice has availability for 4 days per week, supporting a healthy work-life balance. Current working hours are Monday to Wednesday from 8:30 am to 5:00 pm and Friday from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm.

About You

The ideal candidate is a qualified Dentist with around 2 or more years of clinical experience, preferably including surgical extractions. You should be registered with, or eligible to register with, the Dental Council of New Zealand and hold, or be able to obtain, a current Annual Practising Certificate.

You will be confident handling a broad range of general dentistry procedures, comfortable working independently, and collaborative in a team setting. A strong commitment to ethical, empathetic, patient-centred care is essential.
