Role overview
In this junior data analyst role, you will help teams make better operational and business decisions by gathering, organizing, studying, and interpreting information from multiple data sources. The position focuses on turning raw data into clear insights that support performance tracking, trend analysis, and day-to-day decision-making.
What you’ll do
- Create and update reports, dashboards, and visual summaries that help stakeholders understand business results, trends, and key metrics.
- Check datasets for accuracy by validating, cleaning, and improving data quality and consistency.
- Work with large data sets to uncover patterns, opportunities, risks, and areas where processes can be improved.
- Present findings in a clear format so both technical and non-technical teams can act on the insights.
- Partner with different departments to support forecasting, performance tracking, process improvement, and strategic projects.
Qualifications
The preferred background includes a bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a similar discipline. The ideal candidate should bring strong analytical thinking, problem-solving ability, and close attention to detail. Comfort with spreadsheets, analysis tools, reporting platforms, and data visualization software is important. Experience with SQL, database fundamentals, statistical methods, and data management is helpful. You should also be able to explain complex information clearly, manage priorities well, and meet deadlines. Understanding of business intelligence, reporting structures, data governance, performance measurement, and process improvement will be an added advantage.
