Role Summary

The Chief Operating Officer will serve in a full-time remote capacity and take ownership of day-to-day firm operations while improving efficiency across major functions. This position partners with executive leadership to turn strategic priorities into practical operating plans, strengthen business processes, and apply best practices that support durable growth. The role includes guiding operating cycles, defining performance measures, reviewing progress against goals, and ensuring that resources, budgets, and core workflows remain aligned with broader financial and strategic objectives.

In addition, the COO will work closely with leaders across finance, investments, and other functions to improve coordination, reduce operational risk, and enhance systems, tools, and processes. The position also requires building capable teams, reinforcing accountability and transparency, and maintaining clear communication throughout the organization.

Key Qualifications

The ideal candidate brings strong experience in operations leadership, business planning, financial oversight, data-driven decision-making, and executive-level collaboration. Prior exposure to private equity, financial services, or a similar setting is considered a strong advantage. A bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Operations, or a related discipline is required, while an MBA or another advanced degree is preferred.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated success leading organization-wide operations programs and improving processes in complex or multi-entity environments.
• Solid command of budgeting and financial planning, including resource allocation and performance tracking alongside senior finance stakeholders.
• Strong quantitative and analytical ability, with experience turning data into KPIs and practical efficiency improvements.
• Proven leadership experience in senior operations or executive roles, including managing cross-functional teams and influencing senior stakeholders.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong collaboration and stakeholder management abilities in a distributed workplace.
• Experience in private equity, financial services, or a closely related sector is a meaningful plus.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Operations, or a related field is required; an MBA or comparable advanced degree is preferred.
