Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute plans for priority accounts and markets to support consistent, profitable year-over-year growth.

  • Work closely with Engineering, Operations, Inside Sales, Customer Service, and Leadership to ensure customer needs are matched with company capabilities.
  • Keep CRM records current for activity tracking, forecasting, customer interactions, and opportunity movement.
  • Share market insight on trends, customer expectations, and competitor activity to inform business planning and growth efforts.
  • Represent the company in customer meetings, on-site visits, and industry events.
  • Take on other duties that contribute to business objectives.

Requirements

  • A bachelor’s degree is preferred, although relevant equivalent experience may be accepted.
  • Between 3 and 7 years of experience in sales, account management, or business development, ideally within manufacturing, automotive, industrial, or engineered solutions environments.
  • Prior exposure to Tier 1 automotive or technical manufacturing is strongly preferred.
  • Comfort with technical materials such as drawings, specifications, product use cases, and manufacturing capabilities.
  • Ability to think strategically and apply strong commercial judgment.
  • Demonstrated success in relationship building, follow-up discipline, and account expansion.
  • Strong communication, organization, and execution skills, with the ability to work independently in a remote setting.
  • Willingness to travel 50% to 75% for client engagement and business development.
  • Capability to collaborate effectively across engineering, operations, sales, customer service, and leadership teams.
