About the Company
Carazo Group is an international, multi-entity business centered on the premium cigar label Adrian Magnus. The group works across Europe, Latin America, and the United States, covering wholesale distribution to retailers, direct-to-consumer e-commerce, field sales in Spain’s estanco channel, and bonded-warehouse logistics. The business is growing quickly and in a structured way, with a focus on building a strong leadership bench to support scale.
The Role
In this position, you will manage a continuous portfolio of operational and administrative projects from start to finish. These can include securing certifications, licenses, and permits; setting up international bank accounts; and coordinating corporate registrations and setups across different jurisdictions. The role requires you to keep each initiative advancing, follow up with external stakeholders, organize the paperwork, and see every task through to completion so senior leadership does not have to manage the details.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead projects independently from initiation to completion, including certifications, licenses, permits, international bank-account openings, corporate filings, administrative filings, and the setup of new entities or new markets.
- Coordinate with banks, licensing bodies, notaries, attorneys, agencies, and other service providers, ensuring progress continues and obstacles are resolved.
- Prepare, organize, and monitor KYC documentation, corporate records, and applications so materials remain complete, structured, and ready for review or audit.
- Maintain project plans, timelines, and status tracking, and proactively follow up while identifying risks early.
- Provide concise, clear progress updates to the Operations Manager and CEO.
- Assist with additional business support tasks as operational priorities change.
Requirements
- Demonstrated experience managing administrative or operational projects end-to-end through to completion.
- Strong organizational skills, meticulous attention to detail, and the persistence to keep chasing institutions until matters are finalized.
- Comfort working with licensing, certification, bank onboarding, KYC, notarial processes, and government or corporate procedures.
- Fluent English, both written and spoken, is required because the role involves constant communication with international institutions.
- Confidence using project management tools such as Asana, ClickUp, Notion, or Trello, along with spreadsheets and document-management systems.
- Ability to work independently, stay reliable in a remote setting, and deliver results without close daily supervision.
Nice to Have
- Russian language skills are a strong advantage, as the team and CEO are Russian-speaking.
- Background in company formation, corporate administration, licensing, banking/KYC, compliance, or closely related paralegal work.
- Spanish language ability would be helpful across the group’s Spanish-speaking entities.
- A project management certification such as Scrum or PMP, or a relevant academic degree, is a plus.
Compensation & Details
The compensation range is USD 1,800 to 2,500 per month, depending on experience. The role is full-time, fully remote, and engagement will be as an independent contractor. You will gain broad exposure to the group’s operations while working closely with the Operations Manager.
Application Note
Applicants are asked to submit a CV in English along with a brief note describing one administrative or operational project they successfully completed, including what the project was, which institutions were involved, and how long it took.
