Role overview
This opening is for an Azure Integration Engineer based in Mumbai at Yantra Park. The role requires 6 to 8 years of experience and involves building, supporting, and improving enterprise integration solutions on Microsoft Azure. The work centers on Azure integration services, API management, cloud-based integration design, and connecting enterprise applications across cloud and on-premises environments.
Key responsibilities
- Architect, build, and deploy integration solutions on Azure Integration Services.
- Create and support workflows and integrations using Azure Logic Apps, Azure Functions, Service Bus, Event Grid, and Event Hubs.
- Develop, publish, and administer APIs through Azure API Management.
- Design messaging and event-driven integration patterns for enterprise systems.
- Connect cloud applications, on-premise systems, databases, and external third-party platforms.
- Develop reusable frameworks and follow integration best practices.
- Track, investigate, and improve the performance and reliability of APIs and workflows.
- Work with business, application, and infrastructure teams to understand integration needs.
- Build solutions with strong focus on availability, scalability, security, and performance.
- Create and support CI/CD pipelines for integration releases using Azure DevOps.
- Provide production support and resolve integration issues in a timely manner.
- Document designs, technical details, and operational runbooks.
Technical requirements
- Strong practical experience with Azure Integration Services.
- Hands-on work with Azure Logic Apps, Azure API Management, Azure Service Bus, Azure Event Grid, Azure Event Hubs, Azure Functions, and Azure Storage Accounts.
- Solid development background in C#, .NET Core or .NET Framework, REST APIs, SOAP web services, JSON, XML, XSLT, and OpenAPI/Swagger.
- Experience with Azure DevOps, CI/CD implementation, Git, and preferably ARM templates, Bicep, or Terraform.
- Knowledge of enterprise application integration, event-driven architecture, publish-subscribe patterns, queues, topics, and asynchronous processing.
- Understanding of Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, Application Insights, OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, and Azure Active Directory / Microsoft Entra ID.
- Ability to work on scalable, secure integration architectures and production enhancement efforts.
Preferred qualifications
Azure certifications such as AZ-204, AZ-305, and AZ-400 are preferred. Additional advantages include experience with hybrid integration scenarios, microservices architecture, Power Platform integrations, and Azure Data Factory.
Soft skills
The role calls for strong analytical and troubleshooting ability, effective communication, stakeholder management, sound problem-solving, and the capacity to work both independently and as part of a team. A customer-centric and results-driven mindset is important.
Education
A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a closely related field is required.
