Assistant Store Manager - Tweed

About the Role

Skechers Australia is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to help lead the Tweed location. This role is suited to someone who is building a career in retail leadership and wants to contribute to a high-energy store environment. You will partner with the Store Manager to keep day-to-day operations running smoothly, support the team, and help the store achieve strong commercial results.

What You’ll Do

• Support the Store Manager in running daily store operations and delivering sales and KPI targets.
• Encourage, direct, and motivate team members to provide excellent service and strong performance.
• Assist with visual merchandising, inventory control, and overall store presentation.
• Contribute to wage management and scheduling support through effective rostering.
• Coach and mentor staff to help build their skills and confidence.
• Help maintain a workplace that is safe, organised, and compliant with store standards.

What You’ll Bring

• Previous experience in a senior sales assistant, full-time retail, or leadership support position such as Key Holder, Supervisor, 3IC, or Assistant Store Manager.
• A proactive mindset and a genuine interest in developing leadership capability.
• Passion for team development and customer service excellence.
• Confidence in helping drive sales and meet performance goals.
• Working knowledge of visual merchandising, stock handling, and retail operations.
